"Great place for a family vacation! We loved swimming, playing on the playground equipment and exploring local pubs and cafes. The cottage was very spacious and there was lots of room inside and out for our child to play. The hosts were really lovely and helpful and made us feel very welcome."

"The property was very much as advertised, had everything we needed and expected and was very comfortable. It's in a beautiful secluded location and had stunning sunset views in the evening. My Mum (visiting from overseas) loved the big eucalyptus trees and the kookaburras, and our little kids really enjoyed touring the farm and meeting the friendly animals. I also really appreciated the owner Kath's helpful and responsive answers to my various questions, thank you! It is good to keep in mind...

"Wonderful property in such a beautiful location. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the zip line and exploring the surroundings. They loved Spotty too! Only negative was we had no phone reception (Optus) so it was difficult to check in. "

However, guests should be aware of an additional fee for each person beyond the initial 4, a condition that seems unreasonable. The locks are rusty, it took us a while to unlock, and we tried different doors just as the owner suggested. Despite the presence of a cleaning charge, the property was not adequately clean upon our arrival. Cobwebs adorned the main entrance, and various areas were marred by...

"Beautiful location and very quiet. Small cottage was perfect for 2 people with a great view of the mountains out the window. Sat on the back porch watching birds in the trees. The only thing was the path to the river was blocked so we could not access. There were plenty of other nearby opportunities go get to the river though. Totallly relaxing with comfortable beds, couch and outside area. "

"Idlewylde is a gorgeous little house and garden with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a quiet end of town, close to the river and a nice walk to town. The facilities were great and all clean and tidy, with thoughtful choccies and wine as a bonus welcome, would highly recommend the property to stay at,"
