"This is a beautiful old hotel, tastefully renovated and in a great location for seeing Budapest. All the staff we encountered were excellent and served us efficiently in English. The room we had was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. An additional bonus was the Costes restaurant in the hotel, a Michelin rated gem."
"Shout out to Márton on the front desk and Enikő at breakfast for being welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
The rooms had fantastic air conditioning and the location of the hotel is incredibly quiet, despite it being so close to the popular Fisherman's Bastion.
The breakfast (included) was decent with nice à la carte dishes cooked to order.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others."
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Leon Hotel and Lounge. It's perfectly positioned on the Buda side and within easy walking distance of the Chain bridge and the lifts up to the Castle District. There is a conveniently placed tram stop a quick walk from the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was provided with a choice of welcome drinks while I was checking in.
The food in the ground floor café was nice with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating available."
"This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It is perfectly clean and inviting. Each time we have returned we have been so pleased to have been staying there.
The one and only criticism is the breakfast. The food is perfect having so much choice and being so plentiful. The one let down is the actual room. It is an odd shape and when busy it is difficult to get to the food. They even set up tables in the atrium to make a little more room. This is the only reason I have rated it as ‘good’...
