I booked a room with twin beds over 6 months before my visit and I had viewed the specific type of room online. These images quite clearly showed seperate beds, with their own headboard. However, what I was given what was quite clearly meant as a double room. Two single beds had been pushed together within the double headboard. The two single beds were covered with a double bed sheet, but then each bed had it's own single duvet cover.
I raised this issue in writing via messaging, but this hotel did not even bother to reply. As a customer, I felt disrespected by this non- reply.
On check out, I was asked about any issues, to which I reiterated all of the above. Hotel personnel claimed that they could have moved me to a twin room, if they had known about this?
I feel they need to improve on getting it right first time and not ignoring written texts that are sent.
I have travelled to many hotels around the world and never been treated in such a poor manner.
