"I don't think you could find a warmer welcome, from the minute we arrived to heading off the staff at The Cresselly looked after us. We enjoyed a generous dinner and a fantastic breakfast, with high quality ingredients. With free parking right opposite and next to the lovely river walks, it is a brilliant place to stay. We enjoyed reading the history of the pub and the town, displayed on the walls. Only point to offer is that the Inn is near a busy road and I could hear it a little at night so...

"Such a fantastic location for accessing the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We had a three night stay in an “Executive Suite”. This has plenty of room, a stand-alone shower (though no bath in our particular room) and we didn’t notice any insects. "Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message. Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays. Golf course looked nice though"

"This hotel is the back of beyond and not very pleasant.. restaurant not open for evening meals due to the heat.. no fans in the rooms so broken ones were found but were absolutely filthy .. it appeared that the ground floor of the hotel was let to the local housing team for those in need… cleaning staff were lovely and helpful as were both the front of house team but would not recommend staying here … this should be solely turned over to the local council…"

"i’ve stayed here quite a few times. it’s a great location and the staff are always very friendly. the rooms are very good and bigger than i’d expect for the price. located a two minute walk from the services which are great for coffee and breakfast. also convenient for electric car charging. all in all a cracking hotel."
