"I was immediately disappointed when I checked in and my downstairs room was unavailable after being told that it would be available. The rooms were well maintained, however there was no microwave in the rooms. They had a lounge area where they had a water machine and microwave, but you had to pay extra for those amenities which to me was ridiculous!!"

"The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the location was perfect for what I needed. A unique experience that I enjoyed very much."

"The bathroom could use a renovation. Our tub was majorly rusted."

"Clean comfy room! As a solo female traveler I felt completely safe as well"

"It was very nice"

"They let me use a bike for free even after check out :)"

"Basic place which is expected at this price point. 11am checkout so be aware of that. Area is a little sketchy but once again, to be expected at this price point. Parking is included at no additional charge which was the selling point for me. Would return in the future."

"Great stay at the Metropolitan Hotel! Clean, comfortable, convenient location, and overall a smooth experience. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Clean room"

"For one night it is t bad. But the place smells, looks super dingy, stains all over the floor bathroom isn’t nearly as clean as they make it out to be the door struggled to close, the beds were uncomfortable and the AC has a gross smell to it. If you can afford it stay somewhere else. This place isn’t bad for a one night stay but if you’re here for the weekend I’d recommend you look for something else. Also even if you pay for parking the small parking lot will fill up pretty fast."

"the cost vs. value was ok. we chose that location because allowed me to walk to the long beach marathon start line. about 3 blocks away. for just spend the night it was OK, nothing great, but just ok. probably not for vacation or to spend much time there, but just for overnight no problem. the location and convenience are great."

"Staff and breakfast amazing"

"It was a wonderful experience with staff that exceeded my expectations. Me and my wife ended up getting there at 10 PM and the gentleman who helped us at the front desk was kind and professional. I will absolutely stay here again when cruising out of LA."
