"We often stay at Hampton Inns because of their consistent quality. This one met our high expectations. The hotel is secure. The Pearl District felt safe as we explored the neighborhood. We used the valet parking, fairly priced at $46 per 24 hours. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Water pressure in the shower very good. The complimentary breakfast featured three of those great waffle makers. If you want a specialty coffee there are several coffee shops within easy walking distance....

Checking in was a bit annoying, since only the bartender could do the process, and he was unfortunately swamped with bar customers for a while. Not sure why another staff member couldn't take care of the process. Other than that, clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location. Noise from the shows below isn't so bad, although noise from other guests in the hallways in the mornings can be a bit much, but not unexpected given the layout...

"Very easy to check in, the room was clean and cozy, the common areas were also very cozy and well-stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The restaurant next door was a bit loud at peak time of the evening, but that quieted down by the time we wanted to sleep and from then on it was nice and quiet.
