"Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on.
Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. "

"Whilst everything was responsibly clean,some things where a bit dated and needed some tlc.
Bed linen and towels where good quality.
Staff where helpful and pleasant.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.Parking was also a bonus.
We had a harbour facing room,view to the right was of Warrior and dockyard,view to the left was Spinnaker Tower,train,busy bus station and taxi rank.So quite noisy with windows open which we needed with warm weather.
We did however see that fans where provided in rooms for...

"If you like to be constantly disturbed throughout the night and a gratuitous early morning wake up call, then let me tell you - this place has got just the room for you!
Room 202 will not disappoint! Situated directly above the kitchen/ staff area, this room is perfectly positioned for a nightmare stay. Whilst in this room you can expect music and kitchen noise until 10pm and you will really enjoy a very early morning wake up (talking 5am ish) from staff preparing breakfasts, whistling, plates...

"Everything is excellent!
The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi.
All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night).
Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby.
Highly recommended."

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"Undergoing renovations during my stay so have to reserve judgement a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and small things do matter. Hot chocolate and biscuits were a much appreciated extra that I wasn’t expecting. WiFi worked fine for me and breakfast was good. "

"We had booked two overnight stays at the start and end of a cruise. While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey.
The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day.
However, it at £229 for an overnight stay it...
