"I wanted to love this hotel - right on the beach and within walking distance of the ferry and downtown. However, the inside left lots of room for improvement. Our room smelled of mildew and old cigarettes which sent my allergies into overdrive. The pillows had no support, do yourself a favor and bring your own if you don’t want to wake up with neck pain. There were a few smashed dead bugs on the inside of our window and some smears of who knows what on the wall. The bathroom also had some mold....

"The cabin was very cute, but had some cobwebs in main area and other areas that could have been cleaned better. Unfortunately there were some loud neighbors on both sides of us that made enjoying the outdoor areas a little tough. Other visitors also had to leave the beach area due to them. Not the staff's or resorts fault, but just be prepared for others that aren't as respectful to the guests around them."

"Air conditioner stopped blowing cold during the night, and was very loud. Water in tub ran brown the first 3 minutes, then finally ran clear. Room was clean, staff did a good job, room just hasn’t been updated in a very long time."

"Big slide and pool out of commish and disassembled. Still have lazy river, large heated pool, hot tub and the kids play structure witth pool. Kids had a blast!"

"Door to the room scratched so hard on the threshold that it was creating a groove into threshold. Bottom of door was held together by drywall screws. Also, there was a wash cloth draped over the shower curtain rod from a previous guest. Other than that, it was decent."

"This property was nothing like the photos. The room was in great need of updating, like they had not updated it in 30+ years- broken outlet covers, chairs very worn and stained, old carpeting, the moulding in the bathroom loose and just barely attached. It was very disappointing. SAFETY ISSUE: But the most concerning part was that the hallway up the stairs and to our room was dark. We arrived back on the property after dark to find that we had to use our flashlights just to get up the stairs and...

"Our room had a water stain on the wall that had not been taken care of properly. The entire room smelled of mold. I asked to be moved since I have a very serious mold allergy."

"Looked a lot worse than the pictures, we had to go to the hotel next door to check in and out. Coffee machine in the room didn’t work, water faucet kept on dripping water all the time. The room had mildew smell and the carpet was dirty"
