"Communication great, received messages about how to get in for my stay. Room clean tidy and had everything I needed for my stay. Was very grateful for the water when I arrived and appreciated the snacks that were left. Washing machine tumble dryer and ice machine available in out building. Lovely big tv and loved being able to play records when I arrived and getting packed to leave. Great stay!"

"I love the River Inn on Harbor Island. It reminds me of an older stately hotel like the Omni Grove Park Inn and the Martha Washington Inn. However, it is quite dark and the toilets are short (as in 14-15 inches high. So please take this into consideration. The restaurants here and around the hotel are terrific. But the best part has to be the employees that work there. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. We prefer this to the Peabody which is the only other hotel we have...

"Upon arrival, although I thought I was getting a handicap accessible room, it wasn’t an accessible shower however they were able to accommodate me and at least give me a portable shower bench. There were fans lining the hallway on either side. I’m not sure what happened, but fortunately I was able to still get to the room in the wheelchair. "Stayed with my family. Only thing I noticed was a must probably from the ac unit in the room. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beyond our expectations and the valet and secured parking gave us great peace of mind while staying down town. Trolly wasn't running because of utility work but down town was very walkable and impressively clean."
