"No sympathy from staff or Expedia when a death in family forced my trip forward one day. They refused to use one of their open rooms ONE night earlier to accommodate my stay and we had to get another hotel in another town because of it. Our room went un used and Expedia collected their commission and so did the hotel with ZERO compassion to the human side of business. I would NOT recomend this hotel OR Expedia for your hotel needs."

"Property and staff were great, very cute place. Only thing I would mention to future travelers is this isn’t walking distance to Jack Trice stadium (a google search showed it as 5 minutes). Also, if booking through Expedia, your contact isn’t shared so they can’t send you the codes needed to get into the doors. Luckily, Iowa house phones are manned and they promptly sent once I called them."

"Mercedes checked me in. She was AMAZING, very friendly and answered questions, explained where the room was, breakfast, WIFI. Room was very clean and I felt completely safe there. Parking was no hassle and it was very close to the ISU event center I needed to be at. Will definitely stay there again"

"Staff was kind,the lobby is very nice.Got to room + seemed ok,then we checked the pull out, we had five people in our group+ the mattress looked soo flat +old yellowith no sheets. We searched everywhere + nothing was provided to make the bed.We went down to get some bedding + some extra blankets since i didnt want to share w myfriend bc i know im a blanket hog +so is she. we go get the bedding but they gave two top throws as blankets and a sheet that was way too small to fit the bed. "The continental breakfast is not free, as we were told by the front desk. Continental breakfast only consisted of oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels and was $10. If you want the "hot" breakfast with eggs, sausage, etc it's $14. Pretty underwhelming."
