"The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. "

"What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right at the ocean front with excellent food, coffee in walking distance. There is paid parking close by butbwe weee able to park free in the hotel parking lot. The lot is small so we may have been lucky."

Small handy supermarket downstairs, parking in the building's garage but better have smaller than bigger car, it's a bit tight. Beach about 10 mins walking, I still swam in early March. "This is a beautiful hotel, with a range of pools and an opportunity to swim in the sea. Breakfast overlooking the sea was spectacular. Rooms are lovely and we made the most of the cooking facilities. Staff were courteous and friendly. A lovely week."

"Good location, not far from Funchal and from the airport. Public bus very near. Rooms are clean and nice (except the ones near the public areas like terraces or stairs very close to the balcony with people coming uop and down). Breakfast was also OK, quite big variety, although similar every day. Swimming pool very small, but direct access to the ocean. Fitness Centre open only till 21.30 during weekdays and till 20.00 on Saturdays and Sundays (It was the most weird and crazy there). Many floors...
