"Absolutely lovely small hotel, with an elegant and comfortable bar and multiple common areas on every floor. Room are spacious and cozy. Location is perfect. Avoid 5th floor due to slopped ceiling over the bed and smaller windows. I hit my head at night pretty hard on the slope, but that was the only flaw. Breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again (just on a lower floor :)."

"On the waterfront just across from the old town, the location was perfect. The room was modern and clean, though the bathroom sink is strange and to me unappealing. The breakfast was fantastic, and the outdoor dining very nice!"

"Hôtel rénové très bien situé face à la gare T centralen avec au pied 1 accès métro, aurait le max d'étoiles si l'on n'essayait pas d'attribuer aux singles la plus incommodante des chambres, avec 20 cm autour du lit, 1 penderie de 50cm sur 70 de hauteur, sans siège ni espace bureau, sombre, étouffante, alors qu'on a réservé et payé pour 10 jours. Sous couvert d'être 1 cadeau, avec 1 lit en 140. Changement obtenu pour 1 vraie single sous les toits lit Moelleux en 120 cm mais enfin de quoi pendre...

"An older property that has been renovated to accommodate today’s travel needs. Location was perfect to explore Gamla Stan. Breakfast was excellent….lots of variety and in a unique area of the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very accommodating and friendly. If you have any mobility issues however this may not be the hotel for you. There are some stairs and it is an old building so many small step ups. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

Our room was nice and had a view of that park but disappointing that we specifically booked a Family Room (well in advance) and got a deluxe twin with a cot for our son. We paid for a family room and I questioned it, but was told we got upgraded and honestly l didn’t feel like arguing, so took the room as is. ...

"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "The rooms were small and had no air conditioning. It was hot while we were there and they provided a fan which helped tremendously. The staff was outstanding. The staff was very kind and helpful with logistics. The hotel and room was very clean. The breakfast each morning was superb."
