"Location was perfect, room was fair but nothing extraordinary. Lobby was old and needs refurbishment. Also lobby was weird — one entered what looked liked a lounge bar and there was a table that was indeed the reception area where one checked in. Photos online looked more appealing than what the place actually looked like. Window in the room had a metal plate, I guess to allow a better view to the outside rather than facing a brick wall. With so many other options, will not stay here again."

"On the waterfront just across from the old town, the location was perfect. The room was modern and clean, though the bathroom sink is strange and to me unappealing. The breakfast was fantastic, and the outdoor dining very nice!"

"Breakfast was delicious and the hotel itself is nice. Can't. Moment on spa amenities but they are pricey. Has easy access to the ferry to take you to the city center or other places. The room was just ok. Had 2 small quilts instead of one large one, the shower head was very weak, the TV didn't work upon arrival and had to have maintenance come fix it. After that, it kept freezing and I had to unplug it from the back and plug it back in everytime I went to use it."

"Really comfy, loved the window seat in the room, perfect for a nap on arrival. Felt at home at the Downtown Camper. Had drinks, breakfast and dinner there and all very good, staff were friendly. Bar was relaxed and we felt comfortable enough to play a game of cards there. Spa was a lovely perk (you have to pay extra) as was the fitness area, with a separate area with mats and a great view for those who prefer yoga to the treadmill. Short walk to station."
