"We often stay at Hampton Inns because of their consistent quality. This one met our high expectations. The hotel is secure. The Pearl District felt safe as we explored the neighborhood. We used the valet parking, fairly priced at $46 per 24 hours. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Water pressure in the shower very good. The complimentary breakfast featured three of those great waffle makers. If you want a specialty coffee there are several coffee shops within easy walking distance....

"We chose this location as we were helping our son move into his apt in the Pearl District. Many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries all within a walkable distance, or a short 5-10 minute drive. We really appreciated the easy access to parking as the area can get congested. Breakfast was basic, but is a definite plus if you’re on a budget. Hotel was quiet and the area felt safe. Would stay here again!"

It's at the entrance of Chinatown which we heard is a bit sketchy, but we parked on the street and didn't have any issues. "The stay was ok! The pictures make it seem way nicer than what it looks like! Pool was little ! Also parking kind sucked I thought it was included and it wasn’t we had to pay each time , walking to it was not that far but inconvenient!"

Checking in was a bit annoying, since only the bartender could do the process, and he was unfortunately swamped with bar customers for a while.
