"My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely rent again if I am back in the area. "

"This place is a hidden gem. It’s so spacious and quiet and relaxing. We are having a very busy trip down the Pacific coast and Salinas was an oasis in the middle of rolling farmland, for us to recharge away from the tourist bustle of Monterey. The lovely town of Salinas and the excellent Steinbeck museum was icing on the cake."

"We had the best time staying here! The property and views are beautiful, the RV was cozy, and the hot tub and fire pit were the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. Absolutely would want to stay her today!"

"We spent two nights here as a family while visiting the area in March of 2025. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to Monterey or other nearby areas in the Salinas valley. Although the house itself is small (a “casita” after all) the 3 bedrooms are surprisingly large and even have closets (plus one has a half bath). The backyard is enchanting and relaxing. Grace is an excellent and thoughtful host and everything was in order when we arrived....

"It was a georgeous weekend in Monterey! We took the kids to the Aquarium, enjoyed the beach, walked through the Butterfly habitat all without jackets! The home was clean and well appointed. The kids loved the playground in the back yard, and the toys in the closet. The home is centrally located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely return!"

"We had a great time in Monterey. The house is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Easy to connect with property owners; great communication. The house is near stores and about 15 minutes to the Aquarium. We brought the family and the house had plenty of space for all of us. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay this is the place. "

"This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived. Thank you, Daniel."

"This place had everything we needed. There was a little hiccup in the beginning. But everything worked out perfectly well. The play area was great for the kids. There was plenty of room for us all. The accommodations were wonderful. Sean and Wendy were awesome hosts. Will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay. Thank you for everything!"
