"We couldn't have been happier with this location! Front row view of the water, sea otters, whales, walking distance to the aquarium and canary row; it was perfect. All amenities were there. Parking streetside was wasy enough. Had a great time!"

"Very restful! We'll be back. Loved seeing baby seagulls on the rooftops of neighboring homes. Parents get a "bit loud" when they bring the young ones food. All part of the charm, no matter the hour!!!"

"The casita is a lovely, super clean place to stay for a short trip! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was relaxing. Also love the neighborhood and the check-in was extremely simple. Highly recommend!"

""Ernie's Place" was very comfortable, very clean, and fully equipped. We were there for three nights and enjoyed the plentiful bedroom storage, the kitchen facilities, and especially, after several days on the road, the laundry. Also, the Wi-Fi is excellent; we were able to stream the IndyCar race on our Roku stick with no problems. I also appreciated the off-street parking. We would definitely stay here again."

"I visited this property with my mom and her dogs in July 2025 and we had the most lovely stay. The house was perfect and the backyard so peaceful to let the dogs out and for us to decompress. The location was absolutely perfect - being able to walk to the iconic 17 mile drive was so incredible. We didn’t realize how close we were to such stunning ocean views! It’s also an easy 15 min drive to Pacific Grove and Monterey, which are also very dog friendly. The neighborhood was so quiet, everyone...

"The location & place itself was wonderful! It was right across the street from the ocean. The place was very clean, had plenty of towels & blankets. We walked a lot to restaurants & short drives to the aquarium & other places. The communal pool wasn’t as close as we expected. The only thing I wished we had was an assigned parking space. We came home late one evening & the spot in front of the house was taken so we had to park across the street. "

"We have a family member who will be attending the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey. We were able to have a short family visit with all of our family. The space allowed us to have a family meal, watch movies, but access the beach and have fun."

"Perfect location in Pacific Grove to enjoy the beach and hiking trails. Cute little "beach cottage" and beds, towels and bedding were comfy. We did not use the kitchen other than for breakfast but it was adequate for our needs. Parking was very easy on the street except for the weekend so it was very nice to have the parking spaces included as well."

"Really gorgeous property in a great location. I appreciated the comfortable rocker in the living room where I could see the ocean while the baby took a lap nap. 4 year old loved collecting shells on the beach. We walked to the Beach House restaurant for a nice family dinner for our anniversary night. It was a splurge for us but loved being able to people-watch and see the ocean from the house!"

"We had a lovely time staying here over Fourth of July to successfully escape the firework noise for our baby (not allowed in Carmel). Great location — about 10 minutes from various local attractions. Great space for family. Had fun toys for kids. Some highway noise but otherwise very quiet and noise machines were provided. Going in through seven mile drive gate was quick with the pass. Great communication. Would stay again. Thank you!"

"The house was in a good location close to beach, hiking trails, and the aquarium. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was clean with enough space for 6 adults. The kitchen and the living room were open and spacious. Thank you for hosting us!"

"Cute house close to the beach. Location is great, lots of places to eat nearby. Our kids loved the park just around the corner. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the check in instructions were clear."

"The room was very nice. It is very close to everything we wanted to do and easy to get around to other things. There is a very comfortable bed, couch and chairs to relax. I would recommend this place."
