"Amazing, small but well maintained Victorian building/lodge in a pleasant area, 10/15min drive from the city. Lots of buses to get in and out of the city in front of the lodge & reasonably cheap Uber/taxi ride. "Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter....

"Nice hotel. Unfortunately, an unknown when I booked the room, the hotel is renovating and there is construction going on around the hotel. Several things were not open like the restaurant and gym. A bit noisy. Inconvenient to meet Ubers and taxi due to road work. But overall a nice stay. "
