"I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. "Firstly, this hotel lies on its website. The water is not from Blenheim Palace it is ice Valley from Tesco. The furniture in the room is not mango wood it is chipboard. There was no powerful mixer shower but a fine mist coming out of a plastic showerhead. The room we ended up with looked nothing like the pictures and more like the Travelodge from 1980. We were not impressed at all as the bed wasn’t long enough. There was an iron mark that had melted the carpet, a simple rug would’ve covered...
