"Excellent place to stay , attentive staff , beautiful room, delicious food and 24 hour reception came in really handy as our flight was super late and we arrived much later than we thought . Our driver was worried there was going to be no one to open the door . The phones were off in their offices as it was after hours but finally we got there and there was someone waiting for us. "

The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. "Beautiful rooms, clean and well equipped. Will recommend it! Just as few notes if this is your first time in this area: Difficult to use the appliances as they are in Japanese, even though they provide a QR code with instructions we couldn’t use it. There are no dining options nearby and no restaurant at the hotel. Check-in is virtual and they are strict with the 3 pm check-in. Difficult to find or request taxis. "

"Traditional ryokan in for the night was lovely! Room was very traditional and staff were polite. We had breakfast and dinner which was interestin. The views and private onsen were lovely and I felt very relaxed there. Only improvements would be to allow luggage storage/transport to station and cleaner onsen. "
