However a small desk fan was provided, staff and location made up for the heat. Would definitely stay at this property at a different time of the year again."

"I stayed at a top floor corner room. The room was at first glance, was spectacular. But gradually I noticed problems. Huge room, but no desk to work. Bathroom had large wall mounted bottles, but the body wash one was empty upon check in. There was a loud intermittent buzzing sound in my room like a drill or a pump was cycling on every few minutes. It was a mechanical sound, but I wasn't near the elevators. It wasn't an alarm clock from the next room. It was so loud I could still hear it with...

"It is a great location if you are embarking or disembarking on a cruise. However, it is a bit of a walk into the city (approximately 10-15 minutes). The reception area was very helpful in storing our luggage until the room was ready. The concierge was very helpful as well. When checking in, the receptionist said breakfast was included with our package and the restaurant opened at 7:00 AM. I told her we had to leave at 5:30 AM to catch our flight and she offered to have a box breakfast ready...

"Our room was roomy and clean. There was a queen sized bed by the window, the bathroom was in the middle, and the bunk beds were by the door. The airflow in the section by the bunk beds was a bit lacking. So when we turned the temperature down to 22 C, the area by the queen sized bed was cool, but the area near the bunk beds remained stuffy. The location is a bit out of the way. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Amsterdam Centraal by foot and tram."
