"Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! Tatami rooms w/a kitchen, tiny bathroom (ship size). It is an older hotel, but it was perfect for us. The young man running the hotel was so nice and pleasant. "Kunisakiso Ryocan was lovely. We ended our trip in Kyushu here, and it was very relaxing. We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest. We missed the evening dinner reservation...

"We didn’t know what to expect but were very happy with our stay at the Rex. It’s very clean, modern, great design and has an excellent indoor/outdoor onsen up on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. We loved that you had to take your shoes off at the entrance of the large and lovely lobby floor and go to our room in slippers. And there are also great public onsen nearby. Parking was included and there was a lot of parking spots very close to the entrance."

Majatalo on kävelyetäisyydellä 5/7 "jigoku":sta eli, merkittävimmistä kuumista lähteistä, jotka ovat paikallinen nähtävyys. (Emme tosin suosittele käymään kuin osassa sillä kaksi lähintä kohtelevat eläimiä huonosti). Kahteen kauempana kohteeseen sekä asemalle lähtee busseja 200m päästä. "Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended."
