  • Welcome to Mermaid By The Sea.
    This spacious beach home property features a luxurious main house, a private cabana studio and a separate retreat all for your use and enjoyment. The outdoor patio area is equipped with a pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, wet bar, BBQ and an outdoor fire place, perfect for entertaining or to enjoy with your family. Inside you will find a gourmet kitchen with new chef quality appliances and beautiful décor throughout. The house can sleep most any group with two cal king beds, three queen beds and one queen sofa sleeper. The garage area allows parking for up to 2 vehicles, but for guests without a vehicle, you will find that it is an easy walk to many local hot-spots, restaurants and beaches.

Amazing property. Extremely cozy and very clean. Ton of amenities. The kids were able to enjoys the pool, jacuzzi and beach. Definitely want to come back to this property next spring break!!!!! Our host was great!!!

I had the best time celebrating my 40th with five of my closest girlfriends! The house had everything we needed, from kitchen items, pool floats, beach cruisers, and great communication with the hosts. They gave me a welcome tray full of goodies, awesome recommendations to local hot spots, and greeted us on arrival. We will book again!

Everything in this house was well stocked and so comfortable. There was everything you might need. The host Laurie was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. The house was beautiful and we loved the pool. The only thing I wish is that it had a better beach nearby. The one near the house was rocky and not much for the kids to play on so we had to go 2 miles to Oceanside beach or drive to other beaches.

We loved staying at this beautiful property for our week long family reunion! The layout and number of bedrooms worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen is probably the most well-equipped kitchen of any VRBO we have stayed in. We all enjoyed the heated pool, especially the kids. There were plenty of pool toys, toys and games for the kids, too. And it was an easy walk to the beach. Laurie is an amazing host, easy to work with and very responsive when we had any questions or issues. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our group was in town for a 5 day stay in early December and had a wonderful stay at the "Mermaid House".Well appointed and stocked, it provided plenty of room for our family of 11, aging from 2 to "mid sixties".Bikes came in handy to tool around the town and the pool (heated) and spa were a treat.Laurie was an excellent host, personally greeting us at the home and providing us treats upon our arrival. She was also very quick to respond to any minor issues we may have had, mostly due to the lack of familiarity with the property.We would absolutely book this property again!

This property is beautiful and the home is lovely and well appointed. We had a wonderful week enjoying the pool, barbequing every evening, biking and enjoying the beaches! We highly recommend this property...it has everything to enjoy a wonderful vacation.

We had the BEST time! Laurie was amazing; she had a welcome gift for the group and for the bride who we were celebrating on this trip. She was available for any questions, the house was ADORABLE, and it was so nice being close to restaurants and coffee shops!

Our family had a wonderful time this last week celebrating our son's wedding. The house was perfect for hosting family bbq's, swimming and just hanging together. The pics don't do this house justice as it's very, very spacious. Laurie is an amazing host and we can't thank her enough!

Perfect multi family stay

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding near by and needed a nice place to have multiple family members in one place. Having the pool and spa was great. Kitchen was well supplied and gorge. House exceeded expectations!

Everything you could want

Stunning property with everything a large group could need. Grass area for games, pool/spa area with outdoor kitchen, large patio, upstairs deck………..and immaculate interior fully stocked. We never wanted to leave.

Cannot say enough about our stay at this property. Laurie is an incredible host. She is responsive and very accommodating. The house itself was extremely comfortable for our week with extended family group of 12 which allows you to spread out nicely. They have everything you need from housewares, to pool toys and endless beach equipment which was great for us coming from the east coat. We would definitely stay again at this awesome Oceanside property.

It was absolutely perfect. Laurie made us all feel welcomed and was a great host. We travel once a year as a group to specific destinations and this was all of our favorite trip. Laurie had a lot to do with that and we appreciated all her help.

Spectacular property

We had a wonderful week-long stay here. Just me and my four teens. This place is a dream house for teenagers who love to play and alsowant some privacy. The options for activities are endless and accessible. The host was so attentive and kind. I would come here again without hesitation.
