"The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The pictures don't do justice to this property. The red carpet makes the pictures look dated, but the property is immaculate. The house is as equipped as they come and they are generous enough to provide firewood, charcoal, starters... And you can see that the property is made and maintained with lot of history and love. "This place was perfect for our girlfriend annual getaway ..Close to tShasta lake & Redding .. Home was wonderful.. had everything for having fun without leaving the property! (Pool, Hot tub, game room , screened in porch , even lil white robes ! Kitchen had everything.. email beautiful dinners and we made lots of crafts there lots of memories made Our only complaints are that the carpet needs replacing soon..Quite worn & used.. We may have gotten some flea bites from master bedroom. got few...

"Lovely cottage, very comfortable and very clean. The interior was beautifully decorated, kitchen was well supplied and we appreciated the thoughtful coffee station. Large gas fireplace to enjoy along with a nice library of books. The king sized beds were very comfortable. We wished we could have enjoyed this space a little longer. Our host, Josh, was always available for anything we needed. Highly recommend this cute cozy cottage."
