"The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay."

"We had an absolutely spectacular birthday weekend for my wife. The house is completely out on its own—you can’t see another structure wherever you look. The photos honestly don’t do the view justice. It’s gorgeous.
