"Lake Erie beachfront cottage was in a beautiful setting and definitely right on the water. It was beautiful with lots of gorgeous swallows, purple martens, seabirds and geese. There were several items that were not onsite that were included in the listing, such as; a fire extinguisher, hair dryer and a working outside shower and hose to rinse the sand off. We did inform the management about these missing items, but no action was taken. The master bedroom definitely needs at least one...

"My family and I stay for the holiday weekend and my daughter’s 17th birthday. As soon as we arrived the aesthetics were gorgeous. The house had everything we needed in it. The property was beautiful, spacious and peaceful. You could see the water from the front porch. I absolutely would stay here again and again and again. My only tiff was the grill not being cleaned and it ran out of propane, but other than that. 10 out of 10 would recommend!"

"We stayed in the cottages on Lake Eerie, but all of the areas of Lighthouse Point looked very well cared for and landscaped. The Cottage was decorated nicely and we enjoyed sitting on our deck watching the boats go by. It was cloudy and cool while we were there but we did notice there would be no shade in the afternoon/evening. The cottages were very well designed and thought out. "This is the nicest cottage. Tucked away and very private and peaceful. Host was easy to contact and gave us great advice on what to bring. Would rent this for sure again!! Great hideaway and suggest it for Fall as well. The Island was great to see without the hussle and bussle of summer!!"

"Very clean and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The rental is a part of the St. Hazards complex, but is listed as being across the road. This inaccuracy caused issue with the shuttle driver as the address given through VRBO app doesn’t match the actual physical address. The online guidelines and the rental property binder didn’t mention the hot water heater switch. We found it easy, but some folks may struggle. Outside of those issues our stay was outstanding. "We were vendors at the Catawba island boat show and stayed the weekend here. Was updated and clean! They were responsive as well and no complaints. Thank you! "

"Housed our fishing group well for our short stay. Main mattress is VERY SOFT, but there are several other options in the house. Google maps does not accurately take you to the location as the actual home is beyond the main roads. Would stay again if looking for an affordable option in the area!"

"Lakeside is wonderful, and we had everything we needed in this condo. Comfy beds, new bathrooms, and plenty of dishes in the kitchen. Centrally located to everything, with a partial view of the lake!"

"Greatest place to stay on the Island, driveway across from library, easy parking for 3 large boats. Would stay here every time if available. "

"It was a lovely stay overall, WiFi was hard to connect to but other than that it was clean and beautiful and unique , nice area by the water that is comfortable. We did other things in the area and it was a fun stay"

"This is a nice property that is well taken care of. Some of the surrounding houses are a little run down and shabby but it's a quiet area with very little traffic. The roads are very narrow which made backing in a boat a little interesting but it wasnt too bad. The host was extremely responsive and does a very nice job. "

"We stayed at this cottage for our annual spring fishing trip to Lake Erie. The stay was fantastic. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked very well, enough room throughout the place for our gear and didn’t feel cramped, outside electrical outlet and hose hook up to use, and finally easy access in and out. Was great to have the outside deck for winding down after a long day of fishing."
