Our family stayed here for a night while traveling to DC to celebrate the 250th Independence Day. The house was clean and we found everything was accurately described in the listing. The host was friendly and quick to respond, and provided many suggestions for local activities. We grilled burgers and enjoyed walking around the property—seeing fish in the river, fireflies in the yard, as well as deer and raccoons on the opposite river bank first thing in the morning. If we are ever in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with everything from firewood to cookware, with a couple of snacks and treats thrown in. Winding down with a fire and then watching a movie with the theater chairs was a great way to top of a day. Nice quiet area. Host was very friendly too and went beyond expectations.
