"The property is very outdated and needs a really good remodel done. The breakfast was tolerable, but nothing to brag about. The front clerks were nice and accommodating. The hotel is not one I plan to stay at again. It is conveniently located right off I-10 and access to Canal St/Bourbon St was cool. This hotel has potential, but needs a company that is willing to do the work to update it with compassion and care that works best for the patrons."

"Nothing was "wrong". But the whole place was run-down, inside and outside. I know you can't control how the opposite side of the Harvey Canal looks. However, I just don't see how keeping fresh paint on the buildings and boat along with well manicured gardens could cost so much that it is non-existent. "The room was dirty. The floors were dirty upon arrival. No towels at the pool. The back elevator was broken. The check-in took FOREVER and I ask for a poolside and two queens but upon arrival no availability. The breakfast the next morning was chaotic. Too crowded and the housekeeper was too worried about cleaning rather than putting food out and why would you be cleaning serving food at the same time UNSANITARY! "
