Host Rick was super awesome, and attentive to any needs we had which were very few. Answered all questions with no problems. With 9 grand kids i know it had to be loud at times but Rick was just amazing... As for the cabin and the property very huge, lots of space for everyone to move around, we all loved the canoes, and the lake,. Cabin had a older rustic charm that...

"The cabin and the property were gorgeous! Very well stocked for all of our needs(full kitchen, extra linens). We had the BEST time! The cabin is located just a short distance from the Penyrile Lake and not far from Dawson Springs(highly recommend the little bakery on the square!) and the property itself is so lovely for just sitting out on the porch and relaxing. If you’re looking for a weekend away with your family or just a couples getaway this is the perfect place. "

"The property was clean and all of the appliances and technology worked well. We really enjoyed the natural setting. When needed, the lodge was about 15 mins from any gas station or store. "

"This is our favorite family spot to gather. The kids love to swim, kayak, use the paddle boat, water trampoline and fish. The Big kids like it too. So peaceful and relaxing, secluded but convenient to amenities if needed. From wildlife watching, making smores and creating memories, for a laid back getaway, this is it. The hosts are extremely helpful and accomodating. "
