"This hotel is architectuarally beautiful. We were there in June and as a result of the open stairways to the harbor it was very cold all the time in the restaurant, lobby, and hallway. The free guest laundry was amazing. I may be one of the only people that does laundry on vacation but it made me so happy to have it available and having it for free was even better. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. The service was good. "

"It was a little difficult with a small tired 5 year old going up and down the stair due to no lift and the room was so tiny that we had to eat on the bed causing more laundry. But I have been going there since 1992 due to its location but they used to be much roomier and easy to get around now they are very small and tight. "

"I was impressed by how efficiently the hotel handled not only check-in and check-out, but also providing information and allowing guests to contact the reception through an iPad. I was also impressed by how I could use the panel in the room to set the "Do Not Disturb" sign and request room cleaning, instead of hanging a tag on the door. In addition, I appreciated the security system in the elevator, which only allowed access to the floors corresponding to each guest's key card."

"The hotel is in a prime location. The opera house and harbor bridge are nearby ~2kms. The botanical garden, art gallery are within walking distance. A lot of dining and pubs around. Good place to stroll around from the hotel. Frequent buses opposite to hotel for Central and Millars St.(QVB). I have enjoyed the stay. The room is a bit congested for 4. It was neat and clean. maintained well. The shower tap (Hot/Cold mixer) was not mixing properly. However, it can be easily fixed. Overall good...
