"The grounds and the rooms are clean. But with animal allowed they should not have carpeting. The carpets should be replaced with hardwood floors. They sprayed the rooms with pesticide and the smell was very prevalent for a few days. After that the carpet smelled old and moldy. The breakfast was very good."

"Amazing stay at Pismo Lighthouse Suites! Stay here a few times a year definitely in the summer! Rooms are perfect! The hotel staff is great! The hotel grounds have plenty of things to keep the kids busy and happy! The hotel is centrally located to downtown Pismo: You can walk down to the beach from the hotel and they provide beach gear which is awesome! Definetly recommend this place! "

"Check-in was not good. Room was 2 hours late being ready and not recognized as a VIP. No additional accommodations, I.e. free parking and/or waiving if the resort fee offered. Breakfast was over crowded and woefully short on food coming out of the kitchen. It said free breakfast but we didn’t get to eat it due to lack of food coming out. Beautiful property, great location but the experience certainly feel short."

"I loved the location of this property, it’s exactly what we wanted! Loved the rooftop dining as well. I don’t believe the rooms were equipped with enough extras. We had to ask for Kleenex and toilet paper. There were no extras in the room. There were also holes in our bottom sheet (at a Hilton!) we had asked for a refresher if towels, only got hand towels as the others were drying! "We got room 8 which was on a corner and it had good views and we loved that we didn’t have to move our car to go to the pier because the pier was just around the corner.
