Luxury Stargazer Cottage - The Deer Den

This cottage sleeps 4 GUESTS TOTAL, with a MAX OF 2 ADULTS.
BOOKINGS ARE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM OR 3 NIGHTS ON LONG WEEKENDS.

Spend your getaway with a mate in one of our new luxury loft cabins, completely custom designed, built and hand crafted by the Expanse Team.

With a large lookout deck, you won’t be disappointed taking in the night skies, surrounded by trees and the crisp mountain air.

Inside, enjoy a spacious living room heated with a no mess, no fuss propane stove.

Your kitchen, paired with the BBQ on your deck, provides you with everything you need to prepare a delicious homemade meal.

Get a good sleep in your queen bed, situated upstairs in the loft and then get ready for the day in our gorgeous 3 piece bathroom with a large stand up shower.

If you can manage to tear yourself away from this beautiful cabin, you can spend your days exploring Nordegg and the David Thompson Country and the many beautiful sites it has to offer. Or just kick back, relax and take in the peace and quiet…

Perfect!!

An absolutely perfect location with exceptional hospitality. The cabin is beautiful, spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed—nestled in the woods and close to stunning natural treasures. Truly magical. The host’s approach was warm and outstanding.

Quiet weekend get away

Stayed at Deer Den, the cabin was extremely clean and had everything a person could need. A very well thought out and put together cabin. A very quiet spot which is extremely refreshing. Check in was great, and the weekend was amazing.

Peaceful get away

We needed a couple’s get away, & we chose the Nordegg area knowing it would be quiet, & close to trails, waterfalls, etc that were new to us. The Stargazer cabin had everything we needed to relax after a day out. The cabin is tastefully done & we loved the deck & fire table (my partner was disappointed no wood fire pit, but wuickly got over it). The owners have put a lot of effort into helping visitors explore the area. They were respectful of our privacy, yet responsive to needs/requests via the box outside. Thank you! Would highly recommend. Just note, main bed requires going upstairs.

Perfect

We had an amazing time and this location was perfect for what we were in the area for. Cabin was perfect for our needs and kind of wish we could’ve spent a little more time just hanging out there but we were out and about most days. Jen was very responsive when we did need something and instructions were always very clear. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular location, clean, cannot wait to come back.

The property is beautiful, secluded but close to what you need. You can tell the hosts really love their property by how immaculately clean and well kept it is. The only con I have is not staying here for longer than two days. Jen, Jason and Jodi - thank you! We WILL be back! -S&N
