"We had an excellent stay at the Homesteader cabin! Kitchen was very well-stocked, beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for our family of four and medium sized dog. The woodburning fireplace and high ceilings created a lovely atmosphere for relaxing. The location is perfect to feel like you're in the mountains but only minutes from Nordegg. Would definitely stay again! "

"Our group stayed for a weekend at the cabin for a surprise birthday party. The property was exactly as described. The cabin had plenty of room inside and out for our group. The host played along with the initial surprise which was most appreciated. The perfect place for a quiet and private retreat. I would return to this property for a group event again."

"Cabin was well equipped beds super cozy even though I almost needed a ladder to get into the bed! One bathroom for 3 was a challenge but clean and again well equipped. Hosts were very accommodating. "

"We were a group of 5 women who gather annually. This property met all our needs and is as described. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware and bakeware you could need, as well as a good supply of basic condiments and spices. Location was great, just on the outskirts of town, so easily accessible, and a nice location for lake access and walking along Lakeshore Drive. "At first when we pulled up and seen this tiny little cabin I was disappointed thinking it would feel cramped and be disorganized. Once we opened the door I was super excited to see that it is just like the pictures, bright, roomy and has the best beach access. Literally 60 seconds to the beach. There were plenty of fans and air conditioners to keep us comfortable in each room and we had everything we needed for cooking. Definitely would recommend. "

"Really enjoyed staying here, very private and a great mix of lots of activities to entertain yourself or quiet place to read a book. The pond was so nice to swim in and the hot tub to relax in as well. Really well set up, you can tell there was a lot of attention paid to what people actually need when they stay at a cabin. Will definitely make my way back here next year, thanks for having us! "
