"I found the surroundings rather unique.The hotel is nestled in a ravine So it felt secluded even though it was right along route twenty (Dodge avenue). I appreciated that we had a free breakfast, even though it was just a cold breakfast, I was disappointed because I was looking forward to some waffles. ..."

"We were in Dubuque on a Monday night. We went to the casino to have dinner and not one of the dining options was open. We then tried to find dining outside of the casino and the whole town appeared to be closed down after 6:00."
