"Hotel situated in great, safe-feeling area with lots of restaurant options. Comfortable room. First daily housekeeping we've had in a hotel since the pandemic. No restaurants but good food and beverage options on offer in the lobby."

"Loved everything about my stay here at The River Inn. The Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room/suite was very spacious and comfortable feeling like a home. It’s literally 10 minutes from The Wharf which is the waterfront with great restaurants and fun nightlife. Very easy 30min drive to watch The Commanders (NFL). And they have complimentary bikes to ride around historic DC. Couldn’t have asked for a better bang for my buck. "

"The staff were all fantastic! The hotel itself is very nice with spacious rooms and a kitchenette but there’s a lot of homeless around, street parking was non-existent and there’s not a great spot for get in/out of an uber without someone honking or homeless approaching you. "

"We stayed with 5 friends at this property and it was perfect for our stay. Fairly walkable/conveniently located to where we needed to go. Check in was easy, and the property was in great shape. I would recommend for groups of 4-5. "

"The hotel is old,but they renew it, or tried to do it. The workers were friendly and helpful. Everything you needed, you could ask and they helped you, but you could find towels, soaps, washing soup and .... there..the gym was nice and big.. a lot of places for walking, dining, bicycling and.... also dafe.... people walked around and for us was joyful... coffeeandtea alwayswere ready.... we loved it... but sometimes you could see a bug around.... the doors needed update.
