"Small, period. Our family of 4 with luggage barely fit into 2 rooms. Room was relatively dusty, wall part in both rooms had many scratches. The photos definitely make it seem larger.
I'd say the size of the room is suitable for a 1 person stay only. Our rooms were both less than 120 sqft each
For a bit more money compared to what paid for this place I rebooked an apartment hotel 7 min walking away and got almost 5 times more space!
This place was good for anyone who does their research...

"The hotel is in a great location close to both the underground and JR lines. The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly throughout.
The only single critique I have is there not being anywhere you can store cases and clothes easily. We were on a multi hotel trip so unpacking cases was not an option but no where to then keep them to access easily. Even if we was to unpack then there was a very small cupboard that had one shelf and very little hanging. But aside from that I would defiantly...

"We had a family two bunk bed room for our family of four (young adult/teens) and it was great. The beds were comfortable, considerate amenities, and although small, more than enough room for us. The washer/dryer was an added bonus. The 11 floor lobby with the roof deck was awesome too with both free and purchased drinks. The location was good too, close to the busy areas but not completely in it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"We stayed at the other location in Shimokitazawa last time we visited, and although the Shinjuku location is nice it is definitely a step below. The onsen was very busy, and a lot of people who seemed less likely to follow the onsen "rules" (brining phones inside, not washing before entering pool, etc). The elevators are very slow, and I found the room layout not very functional (we've stayed in small rooms before, this one was small and felt like the choices prioritized "design" or looking good...
