"Great central location with clean rooms that are priced in the mid range for Whistler. King bed was comfortable and the room was everything we needed. Bathrooms need a renovation as they are dated and not shown in photos. Overall I would stay again because of the location however for the price I may consider other options. "

"The location is amazing right at the base of the slopes, so it’s super easy to get around. The amenities are great, especially the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs after a long day. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. Overall, it’s a super comfortable and convenient place to stay.

"The hotel is old and doesn´t offer many of the amenities for a hotel that charges these prices.
It is, at best, a 3-star hotel - no pool, jacuzzi by reservation, no help in getting luggage to the room, etc.
Our first room - 506 - was extremely dark, old and smaller than the offered sqm.
As soon as we arrived we asked for a room change and were denied this request. After 2 nights we asked again - the room was terrible!!! - and we finally got another room (700) that had been remodeled...

"We arrived to the hotel at 1pm and kindly asked if they could accommodate earlier check in than 4pm as i am pregnant, however they did not. By 4.20pm i was very mad and kept reminding them that we are still waiting for our room and we finally received the keys to our room at 4.30pm even though they tell you the latest guaranteed time is 4pm.
Also be aware of the AC noise in the rooms. Loudest noise i have ever heard from AC. We couldn’t turn it off and called reception for help. They told us...

"I have stayed at the Fairmont in Banff twice and this property in Whistler did not disappoint either. The whole experience was absolutely seamless and I literally could not make one complaint. Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the facilities were excellent. The food and beverages on offer in all areas were some of the best i have had in Canada. I cannot wait to return!!!"
