"Our group of four had a fantastic stay at Tracy and Steve's well-equipped property. The house had everything we needed - fully stocked kitchen, all linen provided, and a cozy fireplace that kept us warm. Perfect location for walking to town and driving to local attractions like the Tongariro River and Tokaanu Hot Pools.The road noise from Highway 1 was minimal and didn't affect our stay. "We stayed here for three nights while exploring the area. It was a perfect gem to come home to. Very nicely furnished and has everything needed for a perfect and relaxing stay. The views are magical. The owners are very responsive and great to work with. "

"Our party of 12 had a great stay at Tessa property. Location was perfect for what we wanted (kids had a ball riding their bikes around the nice quite cul-de-sac, river/local cafe/playground within nice walking distance). House was well stocked w everything we needed & had plenty of room for everyone (kids loved all staying together in the big bunk room). Brazier was a nice touch for some mid-winter cheer. Tessa was a very responsive & accommodating host."

"Probably the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen, super comfortable. Could have cooked almost anything we wanted with all the cookware available and knives were actually sharp! Almost unheard of in this kind of accommodation. Thanks"

"We stayed here for the second time.Love this little place so much.We came here for work and brought my daughter with me as it was the school holidays.She wanted to come both week because she loved the house so much.Was a little bit cold on our 2nd week but overall we had the best stay in this house.The internet wasnʻt working but they were manage to come fix it straight away.Thank you!"

"The cottage was as expected and the lake access was wonderful.Unfortunately the windows were all locked and there was no key to be found. Despite calling the owner who responded very quickly assuring us someone would be round the next day to unlock them, the windows remained locked for our whole stay. Not ideal :("

"The owners have done a lovely job furnishing the property. It's near the Westside of Lake Taupo. Great fishing and very nice beach, but there a couple of issues. The property lacks internet! It's the 21st century, not having internet is like not having indoor plumbing or electricity. Without the internet, there's no smart TV. The owners told me (after I checked-in) that they didn't realize it was important, and that people could use their cell phones. I'm an international traveler, and don't...
