"We stayed at Malmaison Edinburgh City during August for the Fringe Festival, and it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, with warm, friendly service and thoughtful touches that made us feel truly valued as guests. "Our hotel room was huge, with 20 foot ceilings, big windows and a very large bathroom with a shower and separate soaker tub. The property was close to pubs restaurants and the royal mile and castle. Staff was friendly and the room was clean with complimentary water. We loved the hotel and would stay again"

"Property and staff excellent. Was going to be charged £20 for early check in. I challenged this, and it was revoked. I asked if we could get in if the room was ready. It was ready and left a sour taste in my mouth that they were going to charge extra for this. If that hadn’t happened, it would have been 5 stars all round because the rest was brilliant. Would recommend "

"The one issue is that a taxi cannot pick you up or drop you off outside the property. But staff are happy to call a taxi and it collects you avout 100 metres away at the corner."

"A great classic hotel. It was a pleasure staying at the Parliment. It is a very old school hotel that has been renovated, but retained that old world charm. The staff was charming. The bed was big and comfortable and the room space adequate. The shower was very nice. It was warm though, and there wasn't any real way to cool down (even with the window open). Right next to Calton Hill and an easy walk to the Royal Mile. "

"We enjoyed greatly our time at W. Very close to a mall, tons of dining options within walking distance. Sushisamba tasting menu was an excellent culinary experience. The 360 views from terrace of city are a must see. "

"This hotel was comfortable, quiet and convenient for our brief stay in Edinburgh. Breakfast was nice. I think the Staff needs to be more friendly and accommodating to guests. Nobody ever greeted us with a friendly smile or greeting. Despite this, the hotel suited our needs and was close to everything. "
