"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. "The person who checkes us in greeted us warmly when we arrived. We had questions that were answered genuinely and helpfully. There was a small issue during registration that she resolved quickly. The lobby was lovely. And in spite of being right off a very heavily traveled road, we heard very little. The room was clean, spacious and updated. "

"We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. The inn provides lots of water and soft drink choices, as well as coffees and teas (all self-serve). Fresh-baked cookies every night, and self-serve wine, too! "Just stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. The first night our room was very warm as the AC did not seem to be working correctly, I reported it to the desk and it was fixed by the next afternoon when we returned to the room. Breakfast was ok and the pool was smaller than we expected but everything was super clean and every staff member we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Would stay again."
