"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "Don't get me wrong. Staff was very friendly, Room was clean and food was good. Unfortunaetly when is -1 outside and you turning heating off from 8pm for over the night. Room temp droping to 12 degrees. When I arrived heating was on but not, when ive returned from meal. I'was shivering all night and couldnt sleep. No one there at night to complain. Cannot recommend you guys, no matter how cheap or expensive it was, you should look after customers. "

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."
