"A warm welcome on arrival. We arrived early but were allowed to put bags in our room even though prep not quite finished. Room was a good size, very clean with a very comfortable bed with crisp white linen. Tea, coffee and water supplied. Bathroom had large shower with shower gel and instant hot water. Breakfast was cooked to order with good selection, scrambled eggs lovely and ‘fluffy’. Did not have dinner but available. Location is ideal for exploring the Quantocks Cosy bar for nightcap."

"In a lovely location, very quiet. Used the hotel as a stop off on the long drive down to Lands End airport. Room lovely and comfortable. Staff professional and friendly. "

"We were very happy staying at Dunster Castle Hotel with Lisa and John. Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious as was the roast dinner. Good portions and very tasty. It was great that we could take our dog. Room was spotless and very comfortable. We will stay again."

"What a great place. Everything was great. The most comfortable beds. The rooms were so clean, all the extra little thoughtful touches were so nice (chocolates coffee tea juice milk,flowers biscuits, and more). The house was beautiful. And soo clean. Peter’s Breakfast was delicious , couldn’t finish it all. Izzy and Peter were wonderful. I felt so welcome. The pub across the street was great. The food the bar the music and dancing. "Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Comfortable room in a wonderful setting. A good variety of daily meals offered suitable for differing tastes and dietary requirements. We had a lovely stay."

"The staff were very good. The room was good but very white could do with a bit of colour ( even just one wall ) Overall great view from our room and a great break. Cooked breakfast excellent. Pity they didn’t do evening meals "

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."
