"This was, by far, the most charming VRBO we have ever booked! The location was ideal as it was walkable to restaurants, shopping, and historic sites. Thomas was helpful and readily available should we need anything. We are hoping to return to Alexandria and, if possible, we will stay here again. It was perfect!"

"Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

"I've stayed at this property in the past. Funny thing is the last time and this time I had the exact same room. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked very well, plenty of hot water for showering. The hotel is a block from the Navy Yard and 3 short blocks from the Marine Barracks at 8th & I. There is a Capital Bikeshare on the block, and getting around by bike is easy. There are a few restaurants in the area and a very well stocked...
