Spacious, clean, quiet rooms with luxurious linens and incredibly comfortable beds and pillows.The bathroom was also tops with thick soft towels and the best smelling lotion and wash/soap but most importantly, the water pressure was amazing! "Shops on campus are very nice and upscale. Sweet water cafe across the street from main entrance is good for a quick breakfast. Also, try Millers on King St for breakfast. "

"Everything was lovely other than the entry goon. After dinner we went for a walk and my son put on a Gap sweatshirt. When we returned an incredibly rude employee confronted us demanding to know where we were going. You have to walk through a restaurant and bar to get through to the hotel and elevators. He was extremely rude with no apology when we explained we were staying at the hotel. The valet took forever. Other than that, it is a nice hotel. With so many other options in Charleston, I will...

"Extremely clean and comfortable! The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is I wish the website mentioned each room has a unique scent. I have a fragrance allergy and didn't see that about the scents until at the airport reading the check in material that was sent to me right before our stay (this material was well thought out and great!). You can buy candles in the scent of each room if you'd like, which is something that others probably really like. I called and they removed a diffuser or air...
