"We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It was quiet and secluded. The house was fantastic. It was clean and roomy. The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room was a HUGE hit for all the kids. The lake lot acess was also a favorite for the kids and adults! Kayaks and paddle boats were put to good use. We had a few first timers for fishing, (we used the fishing rods provided, and bought some crawlers for bait) and the lake didnt disappoint. We caught sun...

"The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!"

"Our family enjoyed this little cabin so much! The cabin was so clean and had everything a family would need for the week. The bay is so quiet and peaceful. The lake is beautiful and clear. "If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, or a great place to have a bachelor/ bachelorette party this place is it. Great cabin, great amenities, great owners. "

"Great little cabin and super convenient to Grand Rapids! Owners were quick to respond. Fishing is GREAT for young kids with lots of bites. Just not for fishermen looking for Crappies or Walleye. Lake is spectacular and clear with lots of great swimming and non-motor activities! I’d definitely recommend "
