"Lovely staff. Location perfect. The only 2 things I was not happy with was how thin the walls were making it able to hear everything going on in the rooms next door and above. The other issue was there was no blackout or a drape blocking the light coming through the window blinds making the room too bright to be able to sleep in. "

"When there were issues with our room that was originally assigned to us, the staff on duty, Kenneth, was very accommodating and gave us an even better room with a great view! "

"We spent 3 nights at Serenity Inn and it was a wonderful stay. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. As my husband and I run our own cleaning business, we know what to look for and we were very impressed at the attention to detail. "The staff were extremely nice, and they double check the cleanliness and status of your room after turnover by the cleaning staff. They made a large effort to have the room ready for an earlier check-in. The room itself was very clean (and the bathroom products smell great). The hotel is situated next to the international tennis hall of fame and is a short walk to downtown, or you can take a slightly longer stroll and head toward the cliff walk/mansions! "

"Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...

"We loved our midweek stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were on a real getaway. The staff was friendly and seemed truly concerned with making our stay special. The room was very nice. The restaurant was perfect for breakfast and an evening snack/drink. Location was great. The only issues we had was that there were times that we could hear our next door neighbors. "

"We loved our stay at the Mill St. Inn! We were in Newport for a wedding and the location can't be beat. Our room was incredibly comfortable and the Inn provided free parking. We also loved the complimentary breakfast delivered to our room every morning and the Sangria and flavored water in the Lobby. "

"We spent 2 nights at the Inn. The location was so perfect - we were able to walk to the Wharf area for activities and restaurants but also was far enough away from how busy that area can be on weekends. There is a coffee place just down the block but not really needed as the breakfast at the inn was delicious. The onsite parking was so convenient. Liz was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We were in the first floor room which had a huge bathroom and shower and the bed was very comfy. ...

Please note that while Room 2 is advertised as sleeping 3 with king and sofa bed, the sofa bed in place as of the writing of this review was unsuitable and unacceptable for sleeping. If you are counting on this bed, you should consider other accommodations. "
