"Place is rad. Actually kinda creepy but I’ve never stayed at a place like this. Glad I did. You feel like you’re staying in a time capsule. Staff was great. It was clean but it is 100 years old so don’t expect every little thing to be how’d you expect Main bummers. No jacuzzi (they should add one since it so cold there) they blocked off the back patio for no aparent reason. It’s in a bad part of town. Biggest bummer. "The property was decent. The front lobby is nice. There is a pool and games for people to play. There was a great outdoor space for people to grill and hangout. The breakfast was fair. Fruit, cereal and microwave able items in the refrigerator. The rooms were a bit dated and the beds were less than desirable. The staff was helpful and nice. You get what you pay for."

"Handicapped bathroom.had two showerheads, one didn’t work. Shower had a clear strip on the floor that was all dirty black. Also had a black rubberized mat in front of shower, very dirty. Sink had something jammed in drain and water started filling up sink. Not very clean."

"This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."

Amenities are not in abundance at any motel 6, but the coffee machine in the lobby was great and the check-in kiosk was really cool. They are simple rooms but they are nice. "Because of the Marathon thru the Avenue of the Giants was this weekend, it was very hard to find a room. This was the only place available and even though the rates were extremely high, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and staff. the early breakfast was an added benefit before we hit the road to the Redwood National Parks. I would stay there again if in the area. Front desk staff was very helpful."
