"Our stay was very smooth. Clean, large room, everything you need in your room, quiet A/C, nice staff, and a well-served free breakfast. I don't know if I will be back in Bastrop again, but if I do, I will definitely book a room here."

"While the hotel was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle (which only ran from 5am to 7:45pm), the property was very run down and our room was not clean (i.e., there was other people's hair on the counter and in our towels, the toilet wasn't clean). I will not be staying here again and would not recommend to others."

"The room was very nicely done EXCEPT for cleaning the AC filter...it smelled very dusty! In the hallway was great..smelled like new paint and fresh. I did appreciate the GRAB and GO breakfast. My flight was super early. However it should only be individually wrapped items."

"Great room and super clean. The only thing that's a problem is the noise from the big trucks on I-35 at night. Not a problem if your a sound sleeper. But I'm not. Maybe a room on opposite side not facing the highway would be better."

"There was a power outage in San Marcos which delayed our check in. When we finally got checked in we had to move rooms from an upper floor to a lower floor because the elevators were not working. I was quite surprised that the hotel did not have a back up generator. The new room we were in there was body hair throughout the restroom and a potato chip underneath the bed. Luckily this was a one night stay for us."
