"We had a lovely family room which was very spacious and beautiful, overlooking the garden. The bathroom had a welcomed walk-in shower. The staff was friendly and professional. Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended. "

"The Belle Normandy was in an excellent location and the rooms were very comfortable and felt particularly spacious after a few nights in Paris! The hotel was a short walk from anything you’d want to see in Bayeux and the proprietors were friendly and helpful. Parking, which I had been worried about, turned out to be very easy - and Vince the location was so convenient, once I parked, we didn’t need our car for the rest of our stay there. "

Our only constructive criticism is that the WiFi was not very strong: it was in and out. However everything else was wonderful! "

You can walk 5 minutes to the train station where the bus departs; 20 minute ride to MtSM, €3 ticket. Check the schedule; on Sunday the bus doesn't run that often. The room has all you need, I am satisfied."
