"Everything was smooth at check in, friendly staff, beautiful views. Would definitely stay there again."

"Super nice very clean staff very helpful"

"There was no balcony. The floor was dusty haven’t washed. There’s no bottled water. Bed frame was not good, little move make a noise. Staff was not friendly enough. The room was very damp and humid. There was a very strong musty smell. Smelled strongly of mold."

"$96 a night for garage parking is a total ripoff. 2 of the 5 nights I was awakened in the early morning by clanging bottles picked up in the dumpster by a trash truck."

"Don’t pay extra for city view. It is a painting of buildings on a shade and when you lower the shades there is a building, no view of the city."

"Coffee was not available downstairs until 7am on Sunday's and 6:30am on the weekdays. I'm an early riser so this was a bit dissapointing, but everything else was solid."

"Non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. Neighbors were at least on the porch, outside. On asking we got a view of the Marina, nice! kind woman at the front desk"

"I stayed the first night. The next day I discovered the room had a wall lamp held on with scotch tape and was falling out with exposed wires. I was moved to another room for the remainder of my stay and asked for a refund of the first night as I felt I was put in a fire hazard. I spoke with three clerks but no manager ever addressed this with me. I booked via Expedia who I notified. Krista then contacted the hotel manager who refused my request because I continued my stay."

"Second time visiting the hotel. When I am in Oakland this is my go to hotel in the middle of downtown and lake activities."
