"in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response! So...

"Our stay at La Casa del Borgo, Brienza was exceptional... Felice was so kind to make sure that we found the apartment and parking. He had even stocked it with most needs, as well as snacks and fresh baked cake. It is well appointed for our use, really clean and so comfortable. It was perfect for our needs to enjoy the community while researching Italian heritage in nearby towns. Highly recommend this accommodation for anyone. Thanks, Felice."

"Beautiful, serene, perfect: this is the place to stay if you are visiting Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi! So much better than staying in town, which is only a 6 minute drive away. And for me it was especially magical because this was the land my people farmed for hundreds of years. All in all, the Tenuta SantoJanni exceeded our expectations. "

"Für fünf Tage waren zu Gast bei Liana. Schon vor der Reise war die Kontaktaufnahme sehr gut. Die Wohnung entsprach den Angaben und wir fühlten uns sehr sehr wohl. Ausserordentlich gut war die Küche eingerichtet, alles hochwertig und praktisch eingerichtet. Das kochen machte Spass. Aber der Clou war der Garten. Liana hat viel mit Licht gearbeitet und wunderschön dekoriert. Wir sassen abends draussen und genossen die Ilumination. Wunderschön. Die Wanderungen, die wir in den Bergen von Potenza...

"We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month! "
