"We felt so welcome here between the hosts and the feel of the house itself. We were visiting family for the holidays and it was nice to have a quiet and comfortable place to call home for a week. Everything was clean and the hosts really thought of everything you may need. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. "

"Older home in what seemed like an iffy neighborhood (I have never been to Utica prior to this trip so do not know the areas at all just going by how it appeared to me). I took a chance on this new listing because it checked a lot of boxes. Two bedrooms, kitchen, competitively priced, not far from where we had to go for a sports tournament. "I loved it! It's not the Hilton, but it was absolutely PERFECT for me, my brother, and cousin. The neighborhood is super nice -- clean, quiet, SAFE. Very convenient to my relatives in Utica and Rome. There are a few things I would suggest to make it even better, but nothing major I would definitely book it again. Thank you for a great stay!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Not only is the suite homey and comfortable, but it's within easy walking distance of downtown Clinton and less than 5 minutes' drive from Hamilton College. Our hostess, Dianne, was friendly and easy to communicate with. I'm sure we'll be back!"

"I felt I had an entire house to myself. Just beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and private. Morning scones were a treat. I just wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Loved the red poppies. I went home and preferred some for my garden. "

"My family came there from MD for our father’s funeral and the location was perfect. The house was just perfect. Loved that we all had our room with tv and full kitchen and comfortable living room for hanging out. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in town."

"I wish I could keep this place a secret but it seems the secret is out. The Barnhouse is exactly as described and pictured, and it is so close to Colgate. It was perfect for our small family's short stay. Will and Wendy provide everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. 10/10"

"We were going to an event at Turning Stone but the hotel rates were high. We found this property a short drive away and it was nice. We were comfortable watching TV and slept well. There was. Keurig so coffee was a breeze. We would stay again when we go back to Turning Stone."
