Waterfall Cabin - Pictured Rocks Lodging

Winter cancellation policy is 0 - days if trails are not being groomed.

We have a 2 - bedroom and 1 - bath cedar log cabin vacation rental situated on 8 - acres adjacent to national forest. We have A/C, WI-FI, grill, and campfire. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs has 2 - full beds. Property has outside cameras for security.

Kitchen utensils, cookware, linens, and bathroom essentials are all provided. You will have to bring your own toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, and other items. We do stock toilet paper, but not for extended stays. There is a coffee maker that also has pod capability. We have a fire pit, gas, and charcoal grills outside.

We are 2-miles south of Lakeshore Trail, Miner's Castle, Pictured Rocks, and Miner's Beach. Pictured Rocks Golf Course is 2 - miles west and the town of Munising is 5 - miles south-west. Snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 - mile east.

This is our 2nd vacation rental that just started May 2023. We have received many compliments on how comfortable, isolated, quiet, and yet close to all Munising has to offer.

We have offered our vacation home on adjacent property east for over 16 - years and are excited to provide this log cabin.

Absolutely beautiful place. Little cabbin tucked away in the woods. Was very clean. Did not have a problem with my 2 year old rolling on floor. Safe, comfortable, fit 2 adults, 4 kids (12-2 years) beautifully. Playset out back, kids much appreciated. Fire pit was quaint and nice. Minutes from munising, Kitch-iti-hipi, many waterfalls in town, pictured rocks. I cannot say enough good things about "waterfall cabbin" would LOVE! to stay again..... October 2025

This cabin was fantastic!! Perfect for two of us and very secluded. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It had wonderful access to everything in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The owner was lovely to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin! Everything we needed was readily available. Very clean and comfortable. Loved that it was close to many attractions but yet secluded. Enjoyed being able to have evening fires. Easy in and out! Pefect cabin for our family of 4! Highly recommend!

This is a nice, modern, cozy cabin which is close to everything Munising has to offer. It is tucked away in a little clearing down a dirt road so you get the experience of being away from it all in the woods while remaining close enough to the sites. The stars at night were beautiful. The owners are absolutely wonderful. The caretaker was very kind and baked us cookies. The beds are comfortable, and the water pressure is good. The stairs to the loft are steep with low clearance, so best suited for kids. We enjoyed our stay.

An amazing amount is fit into this beautiful home. Very welcoming, cozy, clean private and modern. The owners have thought of everything. My son loved having his own area upstairs in the loft. The "tree house" was an added bonus for him. Very relaxing and just the right distance Munising.

As every review states, this cabin is amazing - super clean and modern, the cabin location if perfect for time at pictured rocks - quick, easy access to everywhere you want to go, yet feel like you are secluded. Communication and check-in was terrific . . . perfect getaway - cheers!!!

Had a great stay at the waterfall cabin

This cabin was perfect for us. Close enough to town but far enough away it felt secluded. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Close to halfway between everything we wanted to do.

Munising Log Cabin

We spent 4 nights in Munising, Michigan for a family Pictured Rock viewing and hiking.This cabin was central to all Pictured Rock activities and cruises. Very cute, clean cabin.

Came up to do some hiking and visiting the ice caves.

Great Cottage in the Woods!

We couldn’t have loved this rental more! A true cabin in the woods with all the amenities you could want to be comfortable after a full day of exploring the area. Great location for all the pictured rocks activities and hikes! We will be back!

Wonderful Spit!

Our family of 4 really loved staying at this cabin. It was in a perfect location that was near main attractions, yet isolated in the woods. It was one of the cleanest cabins we've stayed in. It had a well stocked kitchen, too. We loved it here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Cute Cabin

The waterfall cabin is a cute cabin for a family of four, though the loft can be a little tricky for individuals who are 6 feet tall. The area has little to no cellular service, but the Wi-Fi installed is more than adequate for most online activities. The cabin is a short drive from Munising and is a great location for visiting Pictured Rocks. My only concern would be the ability to control the temperature in the cabin. When we stayed there, it was in the mid 80’s and the window AC in the loft wasn't meant to cool the whole cabin.
